4-Day Easter Nile River Cruise
DAY 1 – Your Easter Nile River Cruise Begins at Luxor
Our 4-Day Easter Nile River Cruise is all about allowing our guests to enjoy a flawless short break in the lap of luxury with VIP treatment from beginning to end, so whether you arrive in Aswan by air or by rail, one of our tour managers will be standing by to meet and greet you. He will also assist you in any way he can at the airport or the train station, and then he will escort you to the area where you will be boarding your luxurious 5-Star Nile cruise liner.
Once you board the ship, you will be checked in, and at around midday you will get to enjoy your first good lunch on board this magnificent boat. Shortly after lunch, you will disembark, and along with a small group of other passengers, you will be taken to see two of Aswan’s top historical attractions.
Your first stop during this tour will be at the northern region of the area’s ancient quarries to see the Unfinished Obelisk which is the biggest obelisk ever discovered. Lastly, you will visit the Temple of Philae.
This ancient temple once stood on a tiny island but after the High Dam was completed and the water level of Lake Nasser started rising, the temple was relocated in its entirety in order to prevent it from being lost forever. This is without question one of the best ancient attractions in the country, and visiting this site will be an experience you are not likely to forget.
After your visit to the temple, you will head back to the boat in time for some afternoon tea and an opportunity to enjoy a very entertaining Nubian folkloric show. In the evening you will get to enjoy your first on-board dinner in the vessel’s beautiful dining hall, and then you can spend the rest of the evening relaxing. Tonight you will be sleeping on the ship while it is tied up at Aswan.

DAY 2 – Cruise with 2 Excursions and On-Board Egyptian Galabeye Party
Our Easter Nile River Cruise is all about having a wonderful time, so today you will be get to enjoy a great 5-Star breakfast on the water while your cruise liner is sailing to Kom Ombo where you will enjoy the first excursion of the day. Once the vessel ties up at Kom Ombo, you and a small group of other passengers will be taken to visit Kom Ombo Temple. This site actually features two identical temples that were dedicated to Sobek the crocodile God and Horus the Falcon God. Your English speaking Expert guide will be more than happy to discuss the history and significance of this intriguing ancient relic.
After your tour of the temple, your group will return to the vessel, and it will then start sailing to Edfu, with an excellent lunch being served along the way. On arrival at Edfu, the ship will tie up, and you will enjoy a second excursion, this time to see an ancient cult temple which it the best-preserved temple in Egypt thanks to the fact that it was reclaimed by the desert after the Romans abandoned it.
With you tour at Edfu behind you, you will return to the ship once again, and it will then set sail for Esna. Enjoy afternoon tea and another fine dinner on board the vessel, and then shortly after dinner there will be a very enjoyable Egyptian Galabeye party on board. Tonight you will be sleeping in your luxurious cabin on the water at Esna.

DAY 3 – Cruise to Luxor with West Bank and East Bank Tours
Today may well end up being one of the most memorable days of our Easter Nile River Cruise, and it is certainly a day you will not forget.
Your ship will be departing from Esna early in the morning, so you will be eating breakfast on the river while it is sailing to Luxor. When it arrives at Luxor, you will once again disembark with a small group of other passengers, and then you will be taken to see three remarkable ancient sites on Luxor’s West Bank.
First, you will visit Valley of the Kings. This sprawling site attracted archeologist from all over the world, leading to the discovery of more than 70 ancient royal tombs, including the tomb of King Tutankhamen. In fact, Tutankhamen’s mummy remains in the tomb to this day. Another famous tomb discovered here is that of King Ramses VI.
After Valley of the Kings, you will head to the spectacular Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This is a huge rock-cut temple which attracts thousands upon thousands of visitors each year, and it is without question one ancient site which every visitor should try to see during their stay.
Your last stop of the morning will be a brief visit to see the famous Colossi of Memnon, and from there you will return to the ship for another fine lunch. Once you and the other member of your group have finished eating, you will disembark again, and this time you will be taken to see two fantastic ancient sites on Luxor’s East Bank, the vast Karnak Temple complex, as well as the very impressive Luxor Temple. Karnak was essentially a city of temples, and it is believed that construction at Karnak lasted for about 2,500 years. Today, Karnak remains one of the most visited ancient monuments in Egypt.

DAY 4 – Easter Nile River Cruise Ends
All good things in life come to an end at some point, and our fantastic Easter Nile River Cruise is no exception, but before you go anywhere, first enjoy one more fine on-board breakfast. Shortly after breakfast, it will be time for you to check out and disembark from the cruise liner, and of course, one of our tour managers and a driver will once again be on hand to assist you, and to take you to the airport or the train station, depending on what your travel plans are.
