Itinerary
Day 1 – Check-In and Sightseeing in Aswan
Regardless of whether you arrive in Aswan at the Airport, or whether you arrive at the train station, one of our friendly tour representatives will be there to meet and greet you. They will then escort you in a modern air-conditioned vehicle to port where you will be boarding the 5-Star luxury Movenpick Royal Lotus Nile Cruise.
After you have checked in on board you will be served a wonderful onboard lunch, and then you will disembark for a visit to the Aswan High Dam, followed by a visit to see the massive Unfinished Obelisk, and finally a visit to one of the area’s most impressive attractions, the ancient Philae Temple.
After your sightseeing tour is over you will return to the Royal Lotus where the remainder of the day on the water in Aswan. Lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner will also be served on board the boat, with dinner being followed by a lovely Nubian folkloric show.

Day 2 – Aswan to Kom Ombo, Edfu, and on to Esna
Day two kicks off with an early departure from Aswan, and breakfast will be served as you are sailing towards Kom Ombo.
On arrival, you will disembark for a fascinating visit to Kom Ombo Temple, an impressive ancient temple that was constructed thousands of years ago in honor of the two mythical gods, Sobek and Haeroris. Later you will return to the boat for the onward journey to Edfu, enjoying a lovely lunch along the way.
Arriving in Edfu, you will once again disembark, this time to visit the equally as ancient Temple of Horus at Edfu.
Following your Horus Temple visit, it will be time to return to the Movenpick Royal Lotus Nile Cruise for the journey to Esna, enjoying lunch and afternoon tea along the way.
In the evening another wonderful onboard dinner will be served, followed by a delightful Egyptian Galabeya Party. Tonight will be spent onboard, on the water in Esna.

Day 3 – Sail to Luxor and Luxor Sightseeing
This morning your boat will depart for Luxor, with a good breakfast being served along the way.
When you arrive in Luxor you will disembark for a trip to Luxor’s West Bank to visit three of ancient Egypt’s most famous and most popular attractions, the Valley of Kings; the rocked carved Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. The Valley of Kings is one of the most visited attractions in the country, not least because it is home to the royal tomb of King Tutankhamen.
After exploring these fabulous West Bank sites you will head back to the boat for another good onboard lunch, and then you will head off again, this time to the Luxor East Bank to visit the sprawling ancient Karnak temple city and the impressive Luxor Temple.
With a day full of sightseeing behind you, you’ll return to the Royal Lotus where you will have the remainder of the day to yourself. In the evening diner will be served, and you will spend the night on board the boat in Luxor.

Day 4 – Disembarkation
Wake up and enjoy another fine onboard breakfast, and then it will be time for you to prepare for disembarkation. When you disembark, one of our tour managers will once again be standing by to meet you, and to escort you to Luxor Airport or Luxor Railway Station in a modern air-conditioned vehicle so that you can continue on with your travel plans.
